Qvest Media collaborated with Independent Media Station (IMS) to provide all broadcast infrastructure, equipment, and integration services for the new TV station which went live on July 16.

As reported earlier this month on Digital Studio ME Jordan's first 24/7 news channel called Al Mamlaka ("the Kingdom") was launched in Amman. The news channel will be based at the King Hussein Business Park in Amman, and represents an "advanced and qualitative leap" for Jordan's TV sector as a public news channel which will operate with more "freedom and professionalism"

The high-end news production facilities were equipped with the latest technology solutions to allow for fast and reliable workflows and enable Al Mamlaka TV to produce a first quality 24/7 live feed for satellite, mobile, social media and online.

In a press statement, Qvest Media congratulated its partner Independent Media Station (IMS) which was responsible for successfully launching Al Mamlaka TV. Qvest Media said that having intensively collaborated with IMS in the past few months to design and build the technical infrastructures necessary for the station to take up broadcasting, the system architect and integrator is pleased to finally see all plans come to fruition.

The channel will be supervised by Fahed Khitan and has attracted experienced Jordanian staff with wide-ranging experience including stints at broadcasters abroad.
