Samsung partners with Zee to add Weyyak VOD service on smart TV content package

The Weyyak app is now available for Samsung TV users who purchase the new range of Samsung QLED series TVs, and UHD TVs with the Smartpack content integration.

Weyyak, Zee Entertainment’s first Arabic Video on Demand platform in the MENA region has partnered with leading brand, Samsung Electronics’ SmartPack offering. The Weyyak app is now available exclusively for Samsung TV users who purchase the new range of Samsung QLED series TVs, and UHD TVs with the Smartpack content integration.

Smartpack consumers get access to multiple on-demand content services at their disposal, which now includes the Weyyak service. Based on the Samsung TV model they purchase, buyers get access to 3-months, 6-months, or 12-month subscriptions to the Smartpack. Besides Weyyak, regional streaming platforms Shahid and StarzPlay are also available to Samsung TV owners via the Smartpack package. 

Weyyak provides dubbed Bollywood and Indian films & series, as well as Arabic content for free, streaming both on their website and on mobile devices. Through the VOD platform, users can access Zee's large content library of Indian dubbed Arabic titles, Egyptian & Turkish content.

Zee also added that they will be adding a huge number of diverse titles and content for Ramadan 2019 on the Weyyak Video On Demand platform.
