IABM appoints Dominic Louks as events manager

Dominic Louks has recently been appointed as the new events manager for IABM, the international broadcast and media technology association. Louks is responsible for the planning, delivery and execution of IABM’s global events calendar, reporting to IABM head of marketing, Lisa Collins.

“I am incredibly excited to have joined IABM and I can’t wait to get started on delivering our extensive global events programme,” Louks said. “The professional skills and experience I have attained, working predominately for membership organisations and bodies, will be a natural fit to my new role and responsibilities here at IABM, with the international member profile a real attraction to accepting the position.

“My previous roles have helped me understand the unique challenges faced by many membership companies regardless of sector, including recruitment, retention, engagement and benefit provision.  With the broadcast and media technology industry going through unprecedented levels of change, I look forward to meeting with as many of our members as possible, learning more about the industry, and developing key relationships,” Louks concluded.

Lisa Collins, head of marketing at IABM, added, “Dominic brings a wealth of marketing and events experience, predominately from within membership organisations, and is a fantastic addition to our highly skilled marketing team.  He will play a leading role in developing and executing our series of hosted global events, including our new Executive Summit Series, as well as our presence at other leading industry shows.”
