Germany-based event technology service provider Neumann&Müller (N&M) Event Technology has announced the appointment of Kristofer Collier as the head of lighting operations and lighting design in Dubai.

According to a press release, he will look after the entire Middle Eastern market for the company.

Having worked on the technical side of events, he is also well versed with managing projects holistically, pre-empting potential challenges and finding solutions to resolve them.

Prior to joining Neumann&Müller, Collier ran his own company for 12 years and has a diverse portfolio of clients having worked for acts like Kylie Minogue, Metallica, Nile Rogers and Rita Ora.

In terms of Middle East experience, he has worked on a number of large shows in Dubai including the New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Burj Khalifa and the 43rd UAE National Day celebration. He was also the lighting designer for the Baku Formula One concert in 2016.

Commenting on the appointment Rick Wade, general manager of N&M said: “We have been waiting for this moment to happen. Kristofer’s vast experience and expertise in the technical field surely add value to the company.” Rick added that “his role, overseeing one of the most important aspects of our business, is very crucial as we continue to be recognised as the expert in the event technology both in Europe and in the region.”
