Conferencing specialist Danish Interpretation Systems has completed a deployment of its solutions at the newly refurbished auditorium of Saudi Aramco’s Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Centre in Dhahran.
The project, which saw the company working with local partner Electronic Special Equipment and UK-based Race Furniture, was to fit out the newly refurbished auditorium with an integrated conference system that was unobtrusive.
Working with ESE, both DIS and Race Furniture solved the issue of integrating the hardware and seating prior to installation.
According to DIS, the system is set up so that two delegates share one HM 4042 microphone, which is connected to a MU 6040 box set into the second chair. “All units are connected to a CU 6011 control unit with cost effective CAT 5e cabling and modular hardware and software ensures that the customer only had to pay for what he really needed,” says Chris Hellmuth, area sales manager for DIS in the Middle East.
“Accordingly, DIS Software SW 6000 was delivered with the necessary microphone and mimic controls, as well as with the agenda handling module, display, and last but not least, external control application,” he added.
