CNN International has appointed Antonio Canto as Vice President, Regional Sales, to lead ad sales in key markets, including the Middle East.
Canto joins the commercial executive team under chief commercial officer Rani R. Raad with a remit to continue building CNN’s business in Southern/Central/Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Turkey and CIS.
Recent significant CNN deals in these regions include a global advertising deal with Gucci and sponsorships with Dubai Healthcare City, Qatar Airways, Gulftainer and Emaar in Middle East.
