Arista and Lawo will conduct a joint 2-day seminar for Middle East broadcast industry professionals in Dubai on November 12 and November 14. Titled IP Now – Real World IP Deployment, the seminar will take issues related to IP migration, which remains the hot topic for today’s broadcasters.

Despite its proven potential of elevating broadcast production to the next level, probably no technology shift has created more questions than the current migration to IP-based infrastructure and workflows. This exclusive seminar will help regional broadcasters learn all about the main aspects in considering and planning IP-based broadcast infrastructure.

The program schedule will cover aspects like IP standards, PTP synchronization, the correct planning of scalable IP architectures and the creation of workflows enabled by software-defined processing systems – all with focus and reference to existing real-world implementation like NEP’s Andrews Hubs in Australia. The seminar’s line-up of presenters will be made up of highly acclaimed IP broadcast experts from the two companies including Phil Myers (Lawo), Erling Hedkvist (Lawo) and Gerard Phillips(Arista).
