Arabsat set for two new satellite launches

Arabsat held its Board of Directors meetings in Amman and is set to establish a dedicated business unit to meet the needs of Africa.

Arab Satellite Communications Organization (ARABSAT) held its 163rd Board of Directors meetings in Amman, Jordan, on 9th – 10th Nov. 2018, under the chairmanship of Dr. Nasser Al-Hujailan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information in Saudi Arabia.

Khalid Balkheyour president & CEO of Arabsat said, "This meeting will discuss the specialized committee's reports & quarter reports and many other important relative subjects.”

He also added, "We are currently ready for our new two satellites launch scheduled in the coming few months to further enhance our orbital positions. Arabsat has established a dedicated business unit to meet the needs of Africa. Also, we are working hard on several important strategic projects to keep up with our customers increasing needs, maintaining Arabsat status as the best choice for providing satellite services to its customers.”
