Turkey’s satellite TV provider Digiturk has chosen Unified Streaming to support its new consolidated video-streaming environment. Founded in 1999, Digiturk holds broadcasting rights for Turkey’s premier professional football league Süper Lig. 

A subsidiary of beIN Media Group, Digiturk offers a multi-genre bouquet of national and self-branded video and audio channels in Turkey. The company has been the fiirst to introduce HD, 3D and 4K technologies into the country.

Speaking about the partnership, Hatice Memigüven, CTO at Digiturk said: “Our ambition has always been to give audiences the best user experience, no matter where they are in the world. Incorporating Unified Streaming’s flexible technology for all our channels means we can meet our viewer's expectations.”

Unified Streaming’s software plugin Unified Origin will enable Digiturk to deliver a stable, seamless viewer experience to its subscribers in Turkey and across the Turkish diaspora. Features will include support of a multi-CDN and multi-DRM strategy and the integration of a network PVR.
