Paramount Hotels & Resorts is set open its first “Hollywood movie-themed” property in the Middle East.

Located in Dubai’s Business Bay, the hotel is set to open on September 1, 2019 and will feature 823 rooms including suites from a variety of producers such as the Great Gatsby Suite and The Godfather Suite.

The hotel is based on three signature elements - Hollywood glamour, Californian lifestyle and technical entertainment factors.

It will also feature several F&B concepts that will include the Speakeasy Bar & Lounge for custom cocktails in a Hollywood setting, complete with moving posters and two private rooms.

Dining venues will include a Californian bar and grill, Pacific Groove and a Paramount Chocolate Lab, The Cheat. There will also be an all-day dining restaurant, The Stage; an artisan Café and bakery, The Craft Table; lobby lounge & café, L; and two pool lounges including Malibu Deck and Chill.

Speaking to Digital Studio's sister publication Hotelier Middle East, Paramount Hotel’s vice president of operations, Alessandro Redaelli, said Dubai “corresponds” to the glamour effort that the brand is portraying and has extensive expansion plans across the Middle East.

“It is a first of two projects that we have here in the UAE, we have another project in Downtown in Damac, which is set to open in 2020,” said Redaelli. “Of course, we’re not limited to just the UAE, we have projects in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.”

Meanwhile, Paramount’s director Wael Soueid also told Hotelier Middle East that the hotel is expected to attract visitors from across the world.

“The hotel is going to adopt a “Californian style”, which is going to be easy, relaxed and glamourous,” said Soueid.

“This will attract travellers from all around the world, mainly the GCC, but also China, who love the movies, and India who has a connection with Hollywood.”

Soueid also has ambitions for a movies to be filmed at its hotel in Dubai.

Paramount Hotels & Resorts revealed that they have 23 signed projects in the pipeline worldwide, including in Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
