After hosting more than 55,000 visitors in 2018, IBC2019 is all set to open its doors and welcome guests for this year’s edition. As many as 1,700 exhibitors are expected to be part of the show spread across 15 halls at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre making this year’s exhibition the biggest and best ever.
In terms of conferences and educational content IBC2019 will feature lounge talks – exploring diversity and sustainability in media and entertainment – and Tech Talks taking a deep dive into the latest tech trends and innovations.
High level executives and YouTube personalities are expected to be among the line-up of speakers at the IBC Conference, which will host in excess of 1,700 delegates.
Claire Hungate, ex CEO Brave Bison Group and Warner Bros is expected to be part of the speaker line-up along with Daphne Dentz, SVP mastering and production technology at Warner Bros. Technology.
IBC is also for the first time recognising social responsibility as part of its awards programme with a stand-alone award – the Social Impact Award. This year’s call for entries received an overwhelming response with many impressive and impactful projects submitted the judges were moved to create three shortlists, recognising initiatives focused on diversity and inclusivity, on minimising environmental impact, and for the best ethical leadership.
