Abu Dhabi is set to get a new addition to its live music roster, as Green Grooves will make its debut at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club later this year. The newly-announced event will feature Grammy award-winning DJ, Mark Ronson as the headline act, with UK solo star Labrinth also taking the stage.
Having just scored a first chart-topping single with his Bruno Mars collaboration ‘Uptown Funk’, Ronson is on a career high at the moment. In fact, the upcoming gig will mark Ronson’s second trip to our shores this year, having already headlined DXBeach Festival in Dubai earlier this year.
Green Grooves will take place on Thursday, October 22nd and boasts a 10,000 person capacity – making it one of the biggest outdoor parties outside the Abu Dhabi F1 after race concerts. The October gig comes just one day before the recently-announced second edition of DXBeach.
Ticket prices start at Dhs200 (early bird standing) to Dhs480 for gold class.
