British Soul/Pop singer John Newman will headline the Dubai Design District’s inaugural event ‘Meet d3’ on Thursday, April 2nd, with a free concert. The gig will kick off the three-day celebration that will showcase a programme of local, regional and international artists, designers, musicians, concept retailers and dining experiences.
Renowned for his UK number one single ‘Love Me Again’ and appearances on Rudimental’s ‘Feel the Love’ and ‘Not Giving In’, Newman was nominated for three Brit Awards, including British Male Solo Artist in 2014 and has since sold over four million records worldwide.
Speaking from Los Angeles where he is currently recording his second album, Newman said: “Dubai is a stylish place, such luxury, high fashion and culture all in one amazing city. The last time I played in Dubai it was a brilliant experience and I can’t wait to come back. I’m really looking forward to playing Meet d3 and it’s great that there is a now dedicated venue in Dubai that will cater to and nurture creative talent.”
