Apple launched the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, its first set pf smartphones to feature a three-camera set-up on the rear.
In his keynote Apple's SVP for worldwide marketing Philip Schiller likened the company's decision to include the Pro monikers to indicate its support for professional photographers and videographers
The iPhone 11 Pro's triple rear camera features an Ultra-Wide, Wide and Telephoto lens.
All of its three cameras records video in 4K at 60 fps with extended dynamic range and cinematic video stabilisation.
Apple optimised its software to allow users to switch seamlessly between the three lenses while filming to give a heightened sense of cinematic performance.
Apple claimed that all three cameras are 'all-new' along with several new optimisations to its camera app.
The company also announced a few exclusive video recording and editing apps that will only be available on the App store.
