EVS, a provider of live video production systems, will highlight its latest broadcast technology at CABSAT 2015.
The company aims to show how its technology can improve the live programming experience.
EVS’ production servers, content management solutions and multiplatform distribution tools will feature alongside digital archive management tools and the brand new OB tool, Truck Manager.
Content providers need the peace of mind of knowing that their workflows are scalable and future-proof, allowing them to easily transition to future standards and formats.
EVS will also demonstrate its new range of XT3 and XS servers, which are primarily aimed at OB and live studio operations. Both new servers offer extended format support and capabilities including 4K, 1080p and proxy, as well as new 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and up to 12 HD/SD live recording channels. This allows customers to transition to the next generation of industry standards and workflows as needed.
Another product to be exhibited is IPDirector which is designed for live and fast turnaround production. The latest generation of IPDirector offers new capabilities and modules including web-based remote browsing and content exchange, automated clip management, archive import/export and seamless integration with EVS’ XStore scalable storage solution.
EVS’ IPDirector also guarantees advanced interoperability between production and post-production with the new EXPORT feature from IPLink for Adobe and the support of growing files in FCP-X. As a result, editors can access media directly from their editing stations, create advanced edits, which can be pushed back to the EVS environment for playout.
