Welcoming AV integrators, consultants and end users, Sony’s two-day AV Open House event in Dubai provided an opportunity for the region’s broadcast and AV pros to explore the latest audio visual products and solutions from Sony for not just broadcast and production but also corporate, retail, hospitality and education environments.

“At the Open House event in UAE we’re demonstrating how media solutions from Sony help AV professionals meet today’s real-world challenges in content creation and distribution, more efficiently and at lower cost” says Unni Krishnan, Business Head – Education & Corporate Solutions at Sony Professional Solutions MEA. “It’s a unique opportunity to get hands-on with our latest video and audio technologies – and find out how Sony can help deliver engaging new AV experiences for your own customers.”

The AV Open House showcased new innovations from Sony included a cost-effective media production solution for live events, the latest 4K professional displays, a new range of laser projectors, as well as Sony’s new Sonic Surf VR spatial audio processing technology.
AV Open House visitors saw the latest laser projectors from Sony with featured models include the latest-generation 3LCD panel technology with true-to-life colours.

The compact, easy-to-use MCX-500 multi-camera producer that combines broadcast-quality video switching with an audio mixer and powerful on-board effects is an effective solution for live streaming events without the prohibitive cost of an expensive broadcast grade solution.
Sonic Surf VR combines 3D audio processing with advanced multi-channel speaker technology to create spatial, dynamic soundscapes for your audience – with no headphones needed.
