PlayBox Technology reports an exceptionally buoyant Broadcast Asia show with strong interest in the company's range of broadcast channel branding and playout solutions.

"We have long enjoyed good success at Broadcast Asia but the show this year has proved one of our busiest on record," commented PlayBox Technology CEO Pavlin Rahnev. "Interest in our server-based AirBox Neo remains very strong, augmented by accelerating demand for our CloudAir offering which is based on the software-as-a-service model."

"A crucial element of our demonstration was the unified graphic interface which gives Neo and CloudAir supervisors easy access to the entire playout process from a single control position. Tasks such as scheduling can be assigned to specific operators or the entire process performed by one individual.

"We also promoted CloudAir as a powerful solution for network-attached archiving and as an alternative to costly second-location disaster recovery centres. This is a logical and highly cost effective option which eliminates the need to purchase or lease additional office space."
